Chef Profile

Head chef,  Walter Scoppetta was born in Naples 25 years ago. He studied in college to become a professional chef at Alberghiero di Aversa where he received his diploma. Walter has gained much experience through his career having worked in many 5 star hotels & exclusive restaurants along the Adriatic coast, including Milano Marittima, Rimini, Ravenna and Cervia. Prior to arriving in Cardiff 4 years ago he also spent sometime working in Switzerland. Since arriving at Lorenza's Walter has been working very closely with restaurateur Carmine Mormile as they both share the same passion for food. At Lorenza's the Walter's philosophy is select & prepare as much fresh produce as possible. When customers order, the food is cooked fresh to that order.

The al a carte menu changes regularly but the set menu changes weekly, great value at £9.95 for 2 courses.
